Xiao long bao (小籠包). Shanghai Bun. 952 State Rt 34, Matawan, NJ 07747. Coming back to my old favorite restaurants during winter break is nice. Everything I had here today was great—the xiao long bao, the scallion pancakes, the pork chops, the Shanghai fried noodles, and the pan-fried dumplings. And it was all reasonably priced too. We managed to feed three adults and a child and take home two boxes of dumplings for under $50. Definitely would recommend to anyone in the area. -tsimmyfood Zoom
